November 12, 2008 · The Nikopol Executive Committee of the City Council (Dnipropetrovsk Obl.) adopted a simplified and streamlined procedure for issuing permits through the local OSS (Resolution N940, dated 11.12.2008)

USAID|TIBA assisted the Executive Committee of the Nikopol City Council in adopting a streamlined procedure for issuing permits through the local OSS. The procedure is based on USAID|TIBA OSS Toolkit providing recommendations for streamlining permit issuance at the local level. The new procedure establishes clear rules for the municipal OSS's operations, a list of permit-issuing authorities that must issue permits through the OSS and their responsibilities, a restriction from issuing permits other than through the OSS, and clear procedures for issuing construction permits.
